It is a full key board and will perform well in the hands of a beginner like myself or my wife who is a well seasoned player. This piano can connect to your computer, tablet or phone for more capabilities, lessons or downloads. This can be done via Bluetooth or MIDI connection via cable. It has a built in metronome and many capabilities, which I am just now learning. Now my wife can teach me on this fine instrument.
