I got this piano quicker than expected. It has beautiful sound, good feedback on the keys, and it's easy to adjust volume for post-midnight practice. Only minor flaw is my D3 key clacks slightly when I press it.

We got rid of our full-size organ. I wanted a piano, but my husband convinced me to get the digital piano. I'm so glad he did! It really plays just like a piano but has enough bells and whistles to keep my husband happy!

I bought this for my daughter who is just starting out learning piano. I love the fact it has weighted keys. It makes it feel just like piano keys! This was perfect for what we needed.

Piano arrived few days before it was suppose to which was a great surprise. Easy to set up and my 12 year old daughter loves it!

You get the grand piano feel without the heaviness and bulkiness! My 8 year old needed the 88 keys version and we needed a piano that was inexpensive, looked sleek, and still gave her the experience of playing an actual piano. On days where we are in the same room, she can just hook up her headphones and her playing would not bother us. She can also record herself playing. It’s perfect!!

This piano is perfect for beginners. I am not, as I play semi professionally, but it has nice sound quality, and the weighted keys allow for good building of muscle memory and fantastic finger strength training. Highly recommend.

I had bought this keyboard for my kids since summer is coming up and they need something to keep them occupied besides their electronics. Right off the bat was very pleased, I was a little worried about it being delivered since it’s in the heavy side, but it came quickly with no damage to the box inside or out. Fairly easy to set up, the stand is sturdy and doesn’t take up much room. Great for beginners, the kids love all the different features they have been using it non stop since getting it. Sound quality is awesome and I love that you’re able to put headphones in as well so the rest of the house doesn’t have to hear. Would definitely recommend for beginners/ kids, great feel also no complaints so far!

I thoroughly research great digital pianos for beginners to help balance the cost and the quality. This was a repeating answer, so I decided to get it. For the price I payed, it is great. It is a great purchase, at least for myself, it has great sound and has great options for volume. Not only can you lower or raise the volume a lot, but it comes with the ability to use headphones should you want to do so. If in a bedroom, however, playing on very low volume is still quite personable and respectful to others. I love it.

I am a returning beginner to the piano and this piano suited me to learn on and the price was great. I plugged it and started practicing. The sound is great, the keys are like playing a real piano and it has so many extras on the console. I would recommend this digital piano for anyone who wants a fantastic beginner piano to learn on with an affordable price.

My first piano! I am absolutely loving it. I am not experienced, and just a beginner, but I recently played a friends keyboard and this sounds and feels so much better. Learning to play piano has been on my bucket list, and I’m so happy I took the leap! I definitely recommend this model. Love it!!!

The sound quality is quite nice but we wish it came with better instructions on ow to use each feature. Overall, so far we are happy with our purchase and can't wait to be able to play full songs on it.

We love the piano. It has multiple sound selections, a metronome, and recording options. The keys are weighted and have a real piano feel. The stand is sturdier than I thought it would be and has held up well even with the younger ones. It has a great sound that will satisfy everyone from the beginner to the expert.

My wife plays it a lot and has nothing but praise for the feel of the keys. The stand and keyboard are integrated into one unit, but the keyboard could be used without the stand by removing four bolts. The music stand is very functional.

I am trying to get back into learning how to play the piano. This is perfect for beginners, you are able to follow along most tutorials for songs without any issues. The size of the piano is perfect as well, it is not small but at the same time it isn’t too big. It fits perfectly in my room. The sound control is great and the different settings to use once you get comfortable playing the piano. I would recommend this piano for beginners!

Amazing sound , keys are perfectly weighed. Very easy to assemble but the piano is a little heavy so you may need someone to help you carry it.

This piano is a great product with nice power and a wonderful touch and tone at an incredible price. I tried many different pianos before settling on this one. The sound and touch are similar to those of much more expensive instruments and outclass instruments in the same price range. Playing through headphones with an iPad connected is a great way to practice and learn.

I’ve tried to learn the piano a few times and always quit because I tried starting out with cheap plastic keyboards. I just cited to give it another go and this time I stepped up to something that was more of an investment. This level of quality makes you want to sit down and play. Everything about this set up is very nice, my only gripe might be that the foot pedals are plastic and the wood for the stand is your typical particleboard but if you catch this on sale it is still a really good deal.

Customer service is so kind and attentive. Price-you can't beat. Quality is top of the notch. Our piano teacher said she loves this brand. Great variety of sounds and good sound quality.

I recently purchased the D-20. The delivery was quick, everything needed to assemble the stand was included(which is not always the case). I purchased the digital piano for my son as the least expensive option with pedals and weighted keys. He enjoys playing it as much as a real piano and I can turn down the volume while I work from home. Quality is great for the price.

Item was received just a few days delayed but otherwise, it came in a great condition! Packaging was awesome, no damage or missing parts. My daughter loves it. The sound is amazing that even her teacher commented how great the quality is!

After ordering the piano, I had read some reviews about lack of communication and long shipping. So I reached out through Facebook to Donner to check on my order. Within 24 hours, they had replied and given me options on how to proceed and after choosing I was given a tracking number within 48 hours. They told me when it was shipped and even when it should be at my door. The piano itself is lovely, the keys feel really nice and solid. I'm just learning so I can't give really in depth information but it's been great so far. Amazing piano for the price, I looked at competitors that were double the price for the same quality.

This is a perfect beginner piano. It was easy to set up and took about 20 minutes to set up the frame. The keyboard itself is detachable, which makes it portable. In terms of sound quality, the default setting is Grand Piano and it is the closest sounding electric piano to a grand piano acoustic sound. The Donner DEP-20 has two headphone jacks built into the front of the unit so you can play the piano in private listening mode with your choice of headphones. I purchased a jack converter so I could use any regular headphones with it, as the jack is for a the large size plug commonly used with musical instruments and sound systems. You can split the keyboard into two pianos for teaching someone else. One half will be the instructor's keys and the other half for the student. With both headphone jacks, both can teach and learn quietly using headphones. This piano has a lot of different voices (drums and other instrument sounds). It has fully weighted 88 keys. I purchased some key note stickers for mine to make it easier to learn on, which are removable and perfect. This piano comes with MP3 control, a built in metronome, record and replay capabilities, midi, 3 sustain petals, and the petals each have a plastic protective cover on them. This model has an LCD screen in the center, which makes it easy to see at-a-glace what settings you have the piano set to and relays back anything you change. If you're wondering about height. At 5 ft tall, I can use a computer chair with it and it is the perfect height. Taller individuals should look into getting a Donner bench or other bench that adjusts better for their needs. If you are looking for a great beginner piano, this is a great value, and I will be buying more Donner instruments in the future.

The piano is really really good, considering the price. I use it mostly to play classical music in my apartment, and I have to say it is perfect. The weighted keys are ok, and the sound too. Considering the price, I'm very satisfied. Of course it can't be compared to an acoustic one, but it makes its job in a very decent quality. For other potential customers, I live in USA, and the shipping took 2 weeks. Maybe a little too long, but it was worth the waiting. Thanks.

Just got this piano. It was well packaged. Instructions for assembly was straightforward and easy. So far I am impressed with the range of options it has and still exploring. Sounds good and seems sturdy enough. Good value for money.

this piano is quite brilliant, perfect for beginners but also for intermediate. the sound is really good. the assembly is very simple and can be done in 30 minutes maximum. the materials are solid and of high quality. you can connect a microphone, usb port and you can record beats to play the piano on top. I bous recommend this piano for its value for money but also for the ease of use. you can use a multitude of sounds and even use a drum and other sound. raiment a complete synthesizer at a low price. I recommend it. I really enjoy playing with this instrument.

Excellent digital piano for beginner learning. Fully weighted keys, hammer action keys sound sensitive to how hard you press the keys. Three built in pedals in the wooden stand. Very sturdy wooden stand construction. Shipping to Canada was quick once the item was in stock at the Canadian warehouse and DonnerDeal customer service provided correct time estimates.

Purchased for my remote piano lesson business as I couldn’t get a real piano in my office. This works perfectly for my needs. The weighted keys are nice and heavy like my piano (I prefer heavier keys), the pedals all work well. My husband put it together and had no complaints about putting together. Fantastic value! I love the fully weighted 88 keys. Has a huge amount of voices and rhythms. The difference between just the portable piano, or adding the full wood bench and 3 pedal board is extremally small. Very well worth getting it. And the stand is very, very sturdy. The piano has many very good features - check YouTube videos. The grand piano sounds very good to my ear (not an expert). The only issue I have is that the chord function is not working for me. The display indicates that it is on when I push the button, but still left hand side is only single notes, not chords.

The Lower Keys take a sec to catch up but the feel is fantastic

The box containing piano was packed securely. All the parts were in the box. The process of assembly was easy. This piano is wonderful! It does not take a lot of space, it sounds great and has many useful features. We are very happy with the purchase.

Great sound and great piano

We bought this for our 6 year old kid. He's been loving it so far. His instructor mentioned this piece of piano is apt for beginner since the weighted keys are playing nice in mimicking the acoustic piano experience one of the key feature for developing piano playing skills, and having a pedals for this price is really cool. Length of the piano is pretty reachable for my kid. I like the dimensions of this piano takes very less space. Amazing sound quality. I wish the fastening slots in the wooden board are a bit stronger that’s the only drawback I could see. Nevertheless, the piano is worth the money I paid and I would happily recommend this product.

This is a great digital piano that feels and sounds like a Baby Grand Piano. The Keys are just like the real piano keys and my 5 yo, 8 yo, and my 10 yo girls have been getting used to the real feel the weighted keys and sounds are. If you close your eyes you would think you are playing on a real piano. Additionally, my girls are using an app and they already know a few single hand tunes.

Great value for a starter piano. Doesn't take up insane amounts of space like a regular piano, but still needs a dedicated space, unlike a portable electric keyboard. The keys have decent weight to them. It's a full size keyboard with 88 keys. Sound is decent, headphone jacks are efficiently placed, lots of options for other instrument sounds (though I got it for the piano function). Everyone in my family, two kids under six and two adults, are slowing learning to play on this machine. It's possible we'll get an upgrade down the road if someone wants to advance quite a bit into band or something. But I'm happy with this keyboard. No complaints.

This was perfect for our home. The kids have a real piano at their mother's, so we only needed a keyboard for them to practice. They really enjoy all the beats they can play along to, being able to record and play back, and I really enjoy that I can turn the volume down! It's more sturdy than I thought it would be, and compact enough to not take up too much room. The weight of the keys feels great.

I will start this by saying, I am by no means a pro piano player. I am a beginner...a beginner beginner, like brand new aside from learning one half of 2 songs like 15 years ago and never touching one since. But I set this up about a week ago and have messed around with it a bit and it sounds great to me! I gave it 4 stars since it obviously isn't going to be top tier quality at such a great price, but it is a solid option for beginners like me or parents wanting to get a starter piano for their kids to learn on which I plan to also allow mine to learn on it for music class as part of our homeschooling curriculum. Also, just a note, it wasn't as heavy as I thought it was going to be once put together but the box it comes in is big obviously and a bit heavy so if you're putting it upstairs like I did then you may want to take the pieces out and carry them up there individually since carrying up the box might be a little difficult and awkward especially for only one person.

I was so excited to find this piano, I have been looking for a piano to re-learn how to play. This is a digital piano that has multiple selections for you to select what you want it to sound like. I have been using the grand piano choice and LOVE IT! The piano comes in pieces but it is easy to put together. The piano has easy to follow instructions and all the pieces are labeled. The pedals plug into the back of the piano. I like that when you play there is an option to turn down the volume (or up). This is like a super charged piano! I love being able to play again like I used to when I was little! Very good purchase. It has a lot of bells and whistles!

Love the DEP 20 but was disappointed that a purchased a brand new keyboard but it has a chip in the paint. Not cool.

This piano is an amazing holiday gift. The keys are beautiful and the wood stand is totally not what we had expected. The material used for the stand is very impressive. As you can see from the picture, nobody knows how to play the piano, thus we are using piano key identifiers. Currently, each family member is learning a piano piece and we plan to have family performance next Christmas.

I'm a capable 75 year-old woman and I was able to assemble this piano with no problem. The holes for the screws were drilled exactly where they needed to be and everything fit perfectly. I was amazed how much it sounds like a regular piano. Haven't learned what all the other buttons do or sound like, but am just as happy to keep playing it just like a piano. I am very pleased.

Selected this after many searches and reviews (blogs and videos) based on criteria of first-time learner...with room for years of maturing interest & skill. ... mitigated by budget (but not 'cheap'). 3 weeks ownership and I am delighted!!! Works perfectly with learning apps and midi feedback. Looks attractive with furniture stand.

The piano was very easy to assemble and feels sturdy. The keys are weighted and have a nice feel to them. The sound is good but I imagine the more you pay the better sound you’ll have. We also have a Yamaha that sounds much better but also cost twice this product. Good for a beginner or just someone wanting to play occasionally. We bought for my mom to learn in her retirement and she is very happy with the purchase.

The piano is amazing and is very quick to setup. Because it is fully weighted when you get the chance to play a real grand piano, it’ll feel like the same thing. Other than that the build quality is amazing, check the dimensions to make sure you have space for it. It’s a full 88 key, so no shortcuts were taken.
