My HLX500 arrived very fast, it took just three days to get delivered at my house. It came very well packed and set up. I used it the same day on a recording session to try it out, no one at the studio could believe it was a very cheap guitar, everybody loved the sound. Been playing it a lot the last couple of days, so very happy with this one...maybe in the future I will get another one in the very nice green color...

At EUR 299.99, this is one of the biggest steals in guitar history. It would still be a bargain at twice the price. It has none of the problems typical of budget headless guitars. Not even a blemish! Donner stick to tried and true ideas and simple but elegant designs. The tuners are smooth and the neck is amazing. Shipped very fast and packaged with great care, including a superb gig bag. Basically all the glowing reviews are true. I haven't been this happy with a new guitar for a long time and I cannot imagine a better entry into headless!

Heaven for those who practice guitar between work and home! Headless design fits perfectly in the work cabinet, carrying it home after work is a breeze. One hour of practice a day without neck and shoulder stress, stable tuning without constant readjustments, looks great at home too!

I am simply amazed by this guitar, it feels and plays like a high-end instrument and is just incredible. Setup straight out of the box is fine, I have no need to check the action, neck or string height. Even the stock strings are okay - although I'll probably change them soon. Neck is wonderful and the fretwork is excellent. Body is very lightweight, however that doesn't affect the tone which is tight but full. The three pickups all have their own sonic character. Tuning is easy and very, very stable (a major advantage of headless guitars). I had seen the NHL-500 when it was announced but had to wait before it became available for order. Delivery time was very fast. This is my 4th Donner guitar and yet again I am struck by the quality of their products. You really have the idea that you have something special in your hands with this one.

Such a great find for short trips! Headless design is lightweight and compact, played all afternoon on the street without losing tune. Standing and playing for hours without shoulder tiredness, minimalist look that catches all eyes, gigbag with space for all accessories, no stress when going out!
Last time the band played in a nearby city, bringing it along was so hassle-free! It didn’t go out of tune even with all the bumpy travel, played smoothly on stage, and some audience members asked where I got it after

From accessories to user experience, every detail is thought out! It’s not just the guitar that’s great—the gig bag is awesome too. The material feels thick, and there’s impact-resistant padding on the corners. Last time I accidentally scraped it against a wall, the guitar was totally fine. Plus, the bag can be carried as a backpack or by hand—hand-carrying is way easier for short trips. The biggest surprise? The satin finish on the neck. Even when my hands sweat in summer, it doesn’t get sticky, and the grip feels great. You can tell the brand didn’t cut corners on the small details.
