Decent guitar. A few gripes. The pickup selector feels brittle and rattles. The knobs feel brittle as well. Turning the tone knob also turns the volume, so it takes two hand to dial volume/tone. The metal wings also have play in them. The biggest headache is the bridge. The design is good, but the intonation screws are too long. When tuning my low E, it hits the string and actually pulls the saddle with it, ruining the intonation. I have to grind a few millimeters off of it. I half expected to make a few adjustments considering the price point. It has great playability though. I was able to take the action way down without any buzzing issues.
This guitar is amazing! The sound quality this guitar puts out for the price, plus the size, unreal! I can even carry this on my motorcycle! Showed some friends and they were blown away! Love this!
I've been playing guitar for many years and always have traveled with a portable guitar to remain current with the weekly lessons that I produce as a professor of music for a local college. The Donner HUSH-X guitar is ergonomically shaped to fit quite well for my playing style as it is suspended from my shoulders at a distance similar to the full-scale instruments that I play in Jazz Bands and Orchestras. Surprisingly, the instrument offers a good sound and possesses a sufficient weight to deliver a pretty nice tone. I take the Donner HUSH-X guitar to my rehearsals which produces a solid and projecting sound amongst the other instruments. The sound truly outweighs it's looks as a guitar which appears to be on a crash diet.
Awesome Guitar, actually it is my first guitar EVER! I am using it with the rocksmith game to learn how to play. I am a minimalist so when I first saw this, i thought the design was unique and manageable for my lifestyle. Very well made with great materials. I recommend this guitar.
#MIYAVI I love this guitar. The sound quality is amazing and I am looking forward to taking it on an International trip in January. It's great to play while at home and to practice late at night without disturbing others. Everything you need comes with the package. A beautiful are and battery and comfortable earbud headphones. Perfect for travel. At home I use it with a small practice amp or a et of studio quality headphones which really show off the tone of the guitar. It is beautiful designed with some noice improvements over the Hush-1 which I also play.. #MIYAVI
Amazing guitar! The action was a little high for my liking but nothing a quick setup couldn't fix. Such a neat concept and super portable. The pickups sound great, the finish is beautiful, the frets are perfect and rounded, the tuners are super accurate and easy to use, and the headphone option is handy for late night jams. Coolest guitar I've ever purchased and it's ruined all other guitars for me. Please make a dual humbucker version!!!
I already have a sunset-colored HUSH-I, and when I saw that Donner released the HUSH-X, I didn't hesitate to buy it. All my entry-level instruments are from Donner, and I really love their products. The quality and appearance are both excellent!

This guitar exceeded my expectations. Due to frequent business trips, I couldn't bring a guitar with me all the time. However, this guitar meets my needs perfectly. I can take it with me on business trips effortlessly, especially when paired with my small speaker – it's truly perfect. Speaking of the sound, it's great, and the playing experience is flawless. After using it for a while, I wanted to share my thoughts. The guitar is really innovatively designed, looks super cool, and it's so portable – exactly what I was looking for. Just grab the small bag, and I'm good to go. The sound quality is also impressive, and I can practice with headphones without bothering anyone.
It's great, and there are plenty of accessories included. It's totally sufficient for beginners. I plan to practice with headphones first, and later on, I'm thinking about getting a Donner speaker.
Just got my hush x. Had to tighten the truss rod a bit and lower the saddles. The intonation was already on point. The bridge pickup sounds surprisingly good.

Good and very handy quality guitar. Played super smooth right out of the box. Many useful extra's. Little problem with headphones was quickly solved by the service team. A serious instrument with a sturdy case. Top!
Perfect travel guitar
I bought this guitar to travel with me to Bali and for that purpose it's ideal. The sound however is not so spectaculair and the volume of the different pickups is not the same. But for this price it is reasonable.
Just an amazing guitar, solid, reliable, extremely compact while preserving an amazing playing experience. The addition of earphones is just incredible

It’s very good, especially for the money. The neck feels excellent. It took a bit of setting up but that’s fine. The low weight and compact size make it very good for me as someone who uses it along with live electronics. The sound is good. I do wish it could be put on a standard guitar stand but you can’t have everything.
It's a great little piece of kit for the money. I've been looking for a small travel guitar for years. The Donner Hush X fills that gap in my collection. Well done donner!!
I'm 75, so needed something lightweight. The Hush is perfect and easy to play and set up. I would highly recommend this guitar.

Liked the look of it from the get-go! Had my guitar tech do the set up. Came out awesome. He also liked working on it. Action is great, feel of the neck is very nice. Tone and the ability to change from ear geat to amp is really nice. Would like to see some instruction on exactly how to attach strings. It does what I wanted it for, and more. This is a keeper!
